Dear Recovering Mates, Thanks for your wonderful site, which has gotten better and better, year by year. I met a wonderful guy "here," the one I am sure my Higher Power has had in mind for me for a long time, just waiting until the time was right and both of us were ready. I can t remember how long I ve had the Recovering Mates account exactly...since the beginning of your site, I believe. I have all the confidence in the world the choice I m making to depart the single life, its privileges, prerogatives and privations in favor of a committed partnership. This time my choice-making is not driven by co-dependency and thus this relationship and my participation in it are quantumly different than any past ones.
